SDConnect Information

What is SDConnect?
SDConnect is the information gateway for South Dakota citizens to quickly find services and resources, without knowing the name of the program or the department where the program is located in.

Why is it needed?
The way the state websites were created, users needed to have some idea of where to look and also what programs/services were called. The need existed for citizens to be able to find information about services in their communities and statewide without knowing the right agency or terminology. SDConnect provides the connection to anyone with access to an internet enabled device the ability to quickly access valuable information.

How does it work?
There are multiple ways to access the information. It offers the ability to search all of SDConnect at once, all State Agencies, or a specific agency through keywords and frequently asked questions. In time, SDConnect may be a resource tool for all of state, city, and county governments.
